- This lesson has touched on two issues that are vastly important to our eternal souls, Belief/ faith and Allowing God to work in our lives/ submission. You can decide to do these two actions but, is there any more? The Bible also tells us how to surrender our lives to God. Read Matt 28:18-20. According to this verse, how do we make (become) disciples of Jesus?
- What does the act of baptism look like? The root of this word is baptizo. This word literally means to dip or immerse. Is this an important detail?
You need to make a choice. Either you will choose to believe God exists or he doesn’t. Either you will choose to believe the Bible is the word of God or it isn’t. Either you will choose to believe Jesus is the son of God or he is not. Lastly, this is the time for you to decide to either follow God or not. God’s plan is laid out in the Bible repent, believe, and be baptized, then, you will begin your walk with God. Your walk should and will change you as long as you allow Jesus to rule your life remember Jesus is not just a tick mark in your life’s weekly duties.
