  1. Read Acts 2:22-47.  Then answer these questions:
1.      What decisions had to be made by the Jews at Pentecost?
2.      Who were baptized?
3.      Why were they baptized?
4.      When were they baptized?
5.      Where were they baptized?
  1. Read Acts 8:1-13.  Then answer these questions.
1.      What do you think the purpose was of the scattering of the apostles? 
a.       Are there any lessons we can learn from this today?
2.      Who was it that went to Samaria?
3.      Why did he go to Samaria?
4.      What did he do there?
a.       What was it about him that made people know he was from God?
5.      Do we have miracles today?  Why do/ don’t we?  Eph 4:8-13,  1 Cor. 13:8-13
6.      What should others see about us that should show we are from God? 
7.      What was the result of their belief in Philip?
8.      Who was baptized? 
9.      Why were they baptized?
10.  When were they baptized?
  1. Read Acts 8:26-39.  Then answer these questions.
1.      What was the eunuch reading?
2.      To what is this verse referring?
3.      What caused the eunuch to be baptized?
4.      Where was he baptized?
5.      Why was he baptized?
6.      When was he baptized?
  1. Read Acts 9:1-19.  Then answer these questions.
1.      Who was Saul?
2.      At this time, what was Saul doing?
3.      In verse 6, Jesus tells Saul what?
4.      What is Saul’s response to Jesus’ direction in verse18?
5.      Why did Saul believe it was important?
  1. Read Acts 22:16.  Who told Saul to be baptized?
1.      For what reason was Saul baptized?
2.      What sins had Saul committed at this time?
3.      How soon after Saul heard and believed the Gospel  was he baptized?  Why was this?
4.      How did Saul view himself?  I Cor. 15:9.
a.       Did Saul/ Paul’s view of himself prevent him from spreading the Gospel?  Why or why not?
b.      What was Saul’s mission in life?  Acts 22:14-16
  1. Read Acts 10:42-48.  Then answer these questions.
1.      What was different from all the people with Peter and the people with Cornelius?
2.      Why do you think the Holy Spirit was given before their baptism?
  1. Read Acts 16:25-33.  Then answer these questions.
1.      What is apparent to the other prisoners and to the jailer about Paul and Silas?
2.      What was the jailer’s first question to Paul and Silas?
a.       What was Paul’s respoinse?
b.      What happened before he and his family were baptized?
c.       What was it that saved the jailer and his family, his belief/ faith or their own?  If it was his faith why did he bring Paul and Silas to his house?
  1. Read Acts 19:1-5.  Then answer these questions.
1.      What was the difference between the baptism these people received and the baptism that was being preached by Paul?
2.      What was the purpose of the baptism they received Mark 1:4 and that which Paul was preaching?
  1. From this study what have we learned?
1.      The Gospel must be heard and with it comes a choice.
2.      The Gospel is for all and should be made available to all.
3.      There is no sin, when repented of, that can not be washed away through baptism.
4.      Baptism was done as soon as possible.
5.      This is the way we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
